Dogs have upwards of upwards of 300 million olfactory receptors (scent receptors) compared to humans 5-6 million. This is what makes them so good at locating anything they are trained to seek out. Here at Steadfast K9 we utilize the Search and Rescue training that we have instilled in our dog to help where we can. Whether a furry friend ran away, someone has lost something of value (wedding ring, jewelry, etc), or a natural disaster has happened, we will put our dog to work. Plus He loves utilizing his talents. If it has an odor, he can find it.
